HOW ARE SPORTS INJURIES TREATED?

If you or your child has had a sports-related injury, we can help diagnose and treat the injury. First, we’ll get some information from you, including a description of the injury, how the injury was obtained, your level of pain, information on any past injuries, and more. We may need to take an x-ray because it’s possible there may be a sprain, fracture, or dislocation. From there, we can create a treatment plan, which may include cleaning the injury, stitches, a splint, sling, crutches, or something else to help promote proper healing. Depending on the injury, we may suggest you follow up with a specialist for further care.
